Today we have news that imports of plants and flowers have fallen by over 10% in October of this year compared with 2015. Imports amounted to a cost of 59 million euros this year compared with 66 million euros last year. Also the export share to the UK decreased from 15.5% down to 13.5%.

Tonight is the long awaited final of The Great British Bake Off to see who will be crowned champion in the last series on BBC 1. The show has been an outstanding success for Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, together with presenters Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc, but as you are probably aware only Paul Hollywood out of the quartet will be carrying on with the Bake Off over on Channel 4.
